One of Brooklyn's favorite things to do is help me fold laundry (a.k.a. throw all of the clean clothes out of the laundry basket before I can get to them). So Luke decided to help out by taking both kids for a ride while I folded the clothes. They had so much fun being pushed around the house in a laundry basket, and I just thought it was really cute.
This Sunday, we took family pictures because we realized a few days ago that we do not have a single picture of us all together as a family (except for the one at the Ward social... but that doesn't count). Anyway, here are some of the highlights.
This week, Luke had his interview at University of Washington, and we got a little bored sitting around the house all day, so I got the camera out and shot a couple pictures of Brooklyn and Aubrey. It was fun, but I had to stay on my toes to make sure that Brooklyn didn't squash Aubrey. She is very sweet with her, but she doesn't quite get the "soft" concept yet. Anyway, here are some highlights of our little shoot.
Tonight we had a ward social, where we got to hang out with our best friends - Rick and Jenny Runyan. We are so lucky to have such good friends with a daughter that Brooklyn can play with too. They are really cute together and love hanging out. After the ward social, we went bowling and had a really fun night!
It is a rare event when all three of us are looking at the camera in a photo, so that's partly why I love this picture so much. We were just having a relaxing night at home, when Luke grabbed the camera and took some of the best pictures of "his girls" yet.
