"Brooklyn, Who's This?"

Read this before you scroll down!!

Luke and I love to play the "Who's this?" game with Brooklyn and see if she can identify people. She's usually really good at it (except every fish is Nemo and every child under 4 is "cute baby), but we were shocked at what she told us a few days ago at a doctor's appointment. Luke was looking at Time magazine, and he showed Brooklyn the cover and asked, "Brooklyn, who's this?" She looked at it for a moment, and then said, "JESUS!!" This was the cover:

After Luke spanked Brooklyn and put her in time-out (just kidding), we just looked at each other wondering where we went wrong. Barack Obama is Jesus?!?! Someone hasn't been paying attention in nursery...or maybe just paying too much attention to the main stream media!

Giving Thanks

Yes, I know this is a week late, but I wanted to post some pictures of our awesome Thanksgiving. We went to DMU for a wonderful, FREE meal. Plus, I didn't have to cook or do a single dish! It was great and we had fun hanging out with friends (and Brooklyn had fun running like a psycho through the whole building). We realize this year that we have more to be thankful for than ever before. WE ARE SO BLESSED! Sometimes I wonder what we have done to deserve so much (maybe I helped a little old lady cross the street in the pre-existance like Pres. Hinckley) but we are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for everything he has given us.
