Iowa Positives:
1.)The complex we live in has 2 playgrounds, a pool, and a fitness room.
2.)Shopping! Shopping! Shopping! We have a HUGE mall about 3 minutes from our house that includes everything from Forever 21 to Pottery Barn. There's also a Super Target, Super Walmart, Kohls, TJ Max, and too many great restaurants to list.
3.)We were invited over to dinner to two different families within the first 45 minutes of entering the state. (A.K.A. The people here are really great.)
4.)Brooklyn's new "boyfriend" Drew is the sweetest boy (and our next-door neighbor)!
Iowa Negatives:
1.)We miss our family and friends! It's hard to make new friends here when you know you already found the best people in the world!
2.)I killed (this is not a joke) 12 spiders the first day we were here! And the trend has continued every day since.
3.)I want a Snowasis! Getting one every day this summer and then trying to quit cold turkey was a bad idea!! (only Rexburgians will truly feel my pain.)

Your apartment looks so cute, and the grass is mowed, so that is a plus! That's good people are so nice there too...and it's a good thing Brooklyn's new friend is a boy because if it were a girl McKyla would be so jealous! Just watch their kissing a little better though....When we come visit we'll have to do a huge shopping trip! We miss you guys! If you miss Rexburg you can still come back you know! =)

Let me just say "amen" to your Snowasis comment!!! that was the absolute hardest part about leaving Rexburg, I definately feel your pain! That's so exciting that you guys are settling in! (we move to Reno this week!) Kiss those cute girls for us because we miss them!!!
Wow-nice place! It doesn't sound too bad. We don't even have "super" wal-marts or targets here. Way to go Brooklyn scoring the men and your not even two yet. :) Miss you guys.
hahaha, yeah... it owuld be hard to move away and no longer have snowasis... but it sounds like things are going well :) yea!!! and i love that brooklyn already has a boyfriend hahaha way to go!!!! hope all is well in Iowa :)
So what took yall to Iowa...you guys are somewhat close to us. I guess closer than Rexburg. I feel the same way as you about leaving Rexburg. I couldn't wait to get out of there at first, but after spending 3 years there I miss it now. Hope life in Iowa goes well for you-what city are you in?
