Thank you.
Thank you.
I have the best friends.
I finally got out of the hospital today around 1:30 and I am feeling great. And just to clarify a few things:
A.) It was hardly a "brush with death"
B.) The picture of me sleeping in the hospital is not to be used as blackmail material in the future.
C.) I could never, ever express my appreciation to all those who have stepped up in such a big way to help us out. (Mindy, Jamie, Natalie, Doug, Mom, Dad, Brittany, Lori and Matt) and everyone else that I am forgetting - THANK YOU!)
I will require a test in a little while (where I will be put under, injected, and x-rayed) and then eventually a surgery sometime during the summer (most likely). So the fun is not over, but at least I get a time-out.
It's strange the impact that something like this can have on your perspective on life - but that is another post for another time. Just know that I have never been more grateful for a husband that is my hero, my girls that are my little treasures, and a Heavenly Father that has blessed me more than I could ever deserve.

I hope you're feeling better-kidney infections are not fun and they can get really serious. I think you look beautiful in your pics so don't worry. I hope you're doing ok :) and your children and adorable as always, and you're right-Luke is a pretty swell guy. I sure do miss you two!
I am so sorry to hear about her visit to the ER. That doesn't sound like fun at all. I am happy that you are feeling better though. If there is anything that I can do for you, let me know. Maybe a care package! Let me know when you are going in for surgery. Take care!
I'm so glad that you're home! I've been thinking a lot about you!
I'm so glad you are doing ok. I didn't even know you were in the hospital. I'm so sorry for what a terrible scare that was. I hope the surgery goes well this summer. I will be here almost all summer so you can count on me for help.
I am so glad you are feeling better! Now if we can get you moved, and your mom can arrive safely with your fun new van, hopefully you can return to a semi-normal existence! You'll have to tell me about the surgery thing. I was telling Luke about a surgery I had after I graduated high school...I wonder if you have the same thing I did. Good luck with that. We will be here all summer, so we can help out with the girls again. Rykker LOVED having them at our house! He was really sad when they left! I guess he needs a sister! ;) And Luke is a terrific guy! I can't believe everything that he has had going on this week! I hope he can recover after his tests and the move! You guys need a nice, long date night, maybe a temple trip or something. Let us know when and we'll watch the girls!
Brittany just told me you were in the hospital (I'm watching Jake today b/c your mom's coming out there to see you). I'm glad that you are out of the hospital! I had a kidney infection a little while ago... they are sooo painful. You have such a great family to nurse you back to health!
so worried about you!
glad to know you're ok!
our prayers are with you!
