I have watched "Price Is Right" since I was old enough to sprint home from the bus stop in Kindergarten to catch the final bid on the Showcase Showdown. I've been winning the Mountain Climber game since I was 5 and I built my own Plinko game when I was 7.
{Now that I type that, it's actually kind of embarrassing.}
So, imagine how thrilled I was when we decided to go to Price is Right as a group (there were 6 of us, but 2 didn't make it). Before going, I told the girls I wanted to win a trip and a camera.
That's all. A trip. And a camera.
That morning, we got there in our matching shirts created by yours truly (they said "The Price is Wright" Happy Birthday Kailee Wright!), paid $24 for parking, waited in line for 4 hours, made fools of ourselves in front of the interviewer, got escorted to the FRONT ROW (so I guarantee there are multiple shots of me looking like a total idiot), and then watched my sweet friend Emily COME ON DOWN! and win....
wait for it....
a trip. and a camera.
to Costa Rica, if you must know.
(she also won a surf board.)
She played the game Flip Flop, and she slayed it.
It was crazy and she was awesome. Plus, she's going to stow me away in her luggage on her trip to Costa Rica. So it's all good.
If you want to witness the magic yourself, the episode airs on November 6th on CBS.
Have your pets spayed or neutered. Good bye!
