Today I am half-way there. 20 weeks behind, 20 weeks ahead.
IT'S HALF-TIME, PEOPLE.
So here's 20 facts about our #4.
#1: We don't know what you are. It's the first time we've waited to find out and I'm secretely loving this. Dad... not so much.
#2: I haven't had a single weird pregnancy dream yet. Weird.
#3: I've gained 15 lbs. so far. 10 of those 15 pounds were gained in the first 8 weeks. Self control, where art thou?!
#4: You made me throw up 4 times. Thanks a lot.
#5: I felt you move at 17 weeks while I was driving the car home from a Dr. Appointment. Your dad felt you a week later.
#6: I want to name you Dylan. (Boy or Girl) Dad doesn't. So if in 10 years you decided you want to be named Dylan, I will support that.
#7: During your ultrasound you kept your hands up by your head most the time and you were severely modest. You kept your head turned and your legs closed. :)
#8: We do not know where to put you, my dear. If you end up sleeping in the office closet, just know that it is no reflection of how we feel about you.
#9: I have a premonition that you'll be our most mellow child. Please don't make me a liar. Please.
#10: Cameron really hopes you're a boy. The girls really hope you're a girl.
#11: You full-on gave us a thumbs-up during your ultrasound. Back at you, buddy.
#12: Cravings so far include: Volcano Burger french fries, Mashed potatoes, green apples, Italian food of any shape/size, warm bread, steak, and C A N D Y.
#13: You are doomed to a life of hand-me downs. Sorry.
#14: You'll have 3 cousins born with-in 5 months of you. You lucky duck.
#15: I think your ultrasound picture makes you look the most like Brooklyn.
#16: I am hoping I can get induced with you a week early so you'll be ahead of the cut-off date for Kindergarten. I don't know if I want you to start Kindergarten as the youngest, but I would like to have the option.
#17: I have not switched over to maternity clothes yet, but I'm rapidly running out of options in the wardrobe department.
#18: At the ultrasound, Cameron was scared because when he glanced at the screen he said you had "creepy eyes."
#19: You'll be 3 months old when you get to meet Brendan and Braden. And oh my, you are going to LOVE them.
#20: We are so excited to welcome you to our family.
See you in 20 weeks.
