BREAKING up with spring BREAK

This year for Spring BREAK, we decided to do a little stay-ish-cation and head 3.65 hours south to the beautiful Salt Lake City.

Our first stop was the Museum of Natural Curiosity where we did BREAK a few things.

I was pretty close to BREAKing my back on the Zip Line.
Worth it.
Bailey almost BROKE a tooth on the sea-saw,
and I wanted to BREAK the arm of the devil person who invented this swirling contraption of death.
Brooklyn and Aubrey BROKE all our family rules by climbing as high as possible on the Ropes Course at the Museum (which Aubrey later said was her favorite part of the whole trip).
Bailey just about BROKE the Decibel Scale when she screamed bloodyfreakingmurder when we tried to get her to go into a dark cave.  She legit thought we were going to kill her.  On purpose.
Cameron was all for it though.
Luke tried to BREAK up with me for his new girlfriend (Bailey), and I just about let him.
We almost BROKE the Photo booth by busting it at its seams + destroying it with our cute faces.

That night I kinda wanted to BREAK my own eardrums because Bailey decided 9:42pm was the perfect time to get the party started.  She literally pulled my eyelids apart with her fingers at one point.
After a (not-at-all) restful night of sleep, we headed out in the morning to the Bean Museum, where our hearts almost BROKE when we discovered that our dog Jagger had run away from home.  We got it all under control and after a $85 Pound bill, he was back in business.  And so were we.
We headed to the Dinosaur museum with Chelsey and then to the Cannon Center where we tried to BREAK our stomachs.  (And succeeded).

We headed to the Family Fun Center where Bailey hit the BREAKs when Luke tried to make her rock climb.  (In his defense, she loves our rock wall at home, but she was not a fan.  At all.)
But... her smile when she got to go on the Frog ride, almost BROKE her face.  Her laugh was the actual best thing ever.

We also played laser tag and BROKE Cameron's heart by coming in dead last.
And we played a round of mini golf and BROKE my heart when we discovered the Cameron is actually shockingly good at golf and will be joining Luke on the course a lot earlier than I was ready for.

The next morning, we headed out for a quick hike to Hidden Falls after a beautiful drive through the Utah canyon.

I got the privileged of hanging back with Miss Bailey while the big kids BROKE the trail to the waterfall.

Bailey was unhappy with my selfie-taking skills and decided to fire me and do the job herself.
We eventually made it to the Hidden Falls and prayed that we wouldn't BREAK the fallen log that we had to cross and plummet to our deaths into the waterfall.

The hike was gorgeous (minus the part where we found a creepy abandoned mine and then freaked out when we realized there could be a bear family waking up or a vagabond murderer up in there).

I BROKE everyone's minds by declaring that we were all going to take a timer picture on the log over the waterfall of death.  They really appreciate it when I do that.
Before heading back home, we swung by Temple Square and the Family History Museum.
This Spring Break BROKE all the records.  We loved every second.
