when your church time gets changed to 1:00 pm.
(Our children's exact nap time.)

This is what happens
when you accidentally leave a 12 pack of Mt. Dew's in the car overnight in -15 degree weather. (Oh, and as a bonus they will explode all over your car and leave you a delicious Dew Smoothie in case you get hungry later.) (And for the record, by "accident" I mean "totally knew that you had left it in the car, but would rather deal with said consequences than walk 20 feet to your car at 11 pm and retrieve them." Yes, it's that cold.)

This is what happens
when you leave your house for 2 1/2 weeks in the middle of the frigid winter.
(Yes, that is 3 inches of solid ice. In our bath tub.)

This is what happens
when you have 3 inches of ice in your bathtub and then your faucet decides to turn itself on while you are not home for 2 hours.
(For those of you who are a little slower than most, I did not apply high-gloss wax to my bathroom floor. That is water. An inch of water to be exact.)

This is what happens
when you leave 2 girls unsupervised for 26 seconds with blue play-dough.
I blame myself.

This is what happens
when your child learns how to draw her family.
(You take a million pictures and ooh and aah while your husband rolls his eyes.)
But seriously, moms- how precious is this?

By the way, Luke is on the far right (notice the facial scruff!!), then me, then Brooklyn (with the long hair :), and then Aubrey (does anyone else think that that smile really does look like Aubrey's smile?!).
Don't know why I have 4 legs.
But I don't really mind.
