#12 - Catch Fireflies

Tonight, as promised, we kept the girls up until the unreasonable hour of ten o'clock, marched them outside in their pajamas and set them loose on the unsuspecting fireflies of Iowa.
Aubrey was born to be a firefly hunter.  She caught one in her bare hands in 15 seconds flat.

And Brooklyn, like her mother (in so many ways...) provided the screeching, the dictating, the pointing, the uncontrollable giggling, and the holding of the jar.
We (the world's most smartest parents) thought that letting the jar of fireflies loose in the girls bedroom sounded like a perfectly sane thing to do.

And sane or not (and it was not),
it sure was fun.
We now have 5 fireflies (Lighty, Brighty, Flighty, Blinky, and Stinky) sitting in a jar on my children's bedside table.
