You may have noticed (or maybe not) that one member of the family has been lacking in our recent posts and adventures.
That is not because we do not adore him and want him with us every waking second of every single day. It is because he is currently wading through a medical school swamp full of Board exams, residency applications, practice tests, personal statements, and audition rotations.
(Just typing about it makes me want to take a nap.)
And I just wanted you to know that he is amazing.
He's the hardest worker.
He's the most brilliant genius.
He's the best at balancing both worlds.
He sometimes ditches studying to accompany us to the water park.
He does things that I can't fathom.
While he's got his nose to the grindstone (is that the expression...? big-time pregnancy brain at the moment.), I'm off hunting frogs, painting watercolor masterpieces, catching butterflies, and pumping up the blow-up pool.
I SO got the better end of this deal.
And I SO would not last a day in his shoes.
And I am grateful for a husband who may be busy and stressed and tired and worried,
but is never,
ever
invisible.

The first half of 4th year is insane! But the last half is bliss! Make sure you enjoy every minute of Jan-May! I wish I would have enjoyed it more!
Aww, I love your posts, they make me happy. :)
Thank you for that post. It truely puts life in perspective. And it makes me so much more appreciative of all the hard work my husband does to make our lives what they are.
So, thank you again; you seriously have an amazing and uplifting way with words that blesses the lives around you.
