HALLOWEEN (IN TWENTY THIRTEEN)

This Halloween might have been my favorite one ever.
(And we know I like a good Halloween.)
True story: I decided on our Halloween costumes in May.  "Wreck It Ralph" is was.

The funny thing was, we were told by more than one person that we each fit our parts perfectly.
And I've decided that's true.

Luke played the leading role of Ralph.
Luke is definitely a Ralph.  He gets made out to be the bad guy a lot, when he's just doing his job.  (You can read between the lines a little on that one.) He works harder than anyone, he's strong, and manly, and determined to do what's right, and he gets hardly any "Wreck-ognition" to boot.  He's truly my HERO.

Brooklyn gracefully portrayed the role of Princess Vanellope (actually President Vanellope, if we're getting technical).  Brooklyn is a natural leader who's also playful, carefree, and delightfully light-hearted.  She looks adorable in her ball gown, but would shed it in a second for a hoodie and leggings.  (Which she actually did at more than one Halloween party.)
( apparently there was a pokey wire I forgot to snip in the back of her dress.  oops.)

The uncanny Vanellope Von Schweets role was Aubrey's.  If only you could have heard her spouting off "Wreck It Ralph" quotes the whole night.  She actually even sounds like her.
Aubrey and Vanellope are witty, hilarious, mischievous, outspoken, spunky, flirty, determined, amusing, quirky, and over-the-top adorable. Plus, they each have a severe candy addiction.  And they both were glitches.  The best glitches ever.
Fix-it-Felix was portrayed perfectly by Cameron.  He's a teeny, skinny, itty-bitty little ball of squishy cuteness.  He is caring and loyal and often showered with kisses, praises, and pies from his adoring fans.  He is hard-wired (see what I did there...?) for niceness, and loved by all.
Naturally, I was the fitting role of Sergenant Tamora Calhoun because I'm the unrelenting, tough-as-nails, take-charge leader who fights for humanity's freedom and destroys Cy-bugs with a take-no-prisoners mentality.  It's also fitting that Fix-it-Felix thinks I am one "dynamite gal."
Happy Halloween
