For Spring Break this year, we spent most of it in seat belts and car seats, eating CheezeIt's and drinking Capri Suns somewhere along the I-15.
Our first Road Trip stop was Orem, Utah where I unleashed my children on the unsuspecting campus of UVU.
After a solid 9 hours in the car the day before, we were all a little ready to get out and stretch our legs.
We walked the entirety of the UVU Campus (which is so awesome), and then headed down the road to BYU, home of the Cannon Center (the best college cafeteria ever). The girls agreed that this was a highlight of the trip. We ate smoothies + soup + sandwiches + chicken and pasta + waffles + chocolate milk + tacos + chips and salsa + mac and cheese + garlic bread + salad + cheesecake + ice cream + churros + donuts.
Cameron ate a banana.
That night we put our $11 Pass of All Passes to good use at the fun center and had the place to ourselves. We played arcade games, went bowling, played a few rounds of lazer tag, rode a ride, went rock climbing and discovered Cameron's future as a CIA Agent.
I finally talked Cameron into climbing the rock wall and he took one step up the wall and then started floating up because he was too light to weigh it down. Whoops.
The shock of the day was discovering Cameron's hidden talent at the lazer maze. He was a little pint-sized white ninja in there. He beat every single one of us and got the high score on the very highest level without touching a single lazer. Um, what?
visiting the Church History Museum,
and eating the best meal of my life at Tucano's Brazillian Grill.
Coolest place ever. The only thing that could have made it better was not having the squirmy, tired, hangry 7 month old on my lap.
The next day we made it to Idaho for a day of laid-back family fun including a family dinner + a movie with Grandma + shopping + house hunting + and much-needed nap time.
The second and last day in Idaho we got a private tour of the BYU-I campus from BYU-I's coolest student + got to check out his swaggy bachelor pad.
From there we ran to the BYU Men's volleyball game where we spent about 1/3 of the time in the bathroom + spilled $6 worth of jelly belly's down the bleacher steps + got ourselves on TV with our (Brooklyn's) mad dance moves + changed a poopy diaper on the bench + got kicked out of our seats + had to take 3 trips out to the car for forgotten items + lost Brooklyn for a good 10 minutes at the end of the game.
But we got Creamery Ice Cream afterwards, so all is well.

And then we went home.
