We've never had a child get hospitalized. We've never had a child get stitches. We've never had a child break a bone. We've never had a child even get more than a minor injury. We've been extremely lucky in the accident-free department.
Enter Bailey Jane.
A few weeks ago little miss Bailey broke a bracelet while she was playing. She picked up one of the beads that fell off the bracelet and promptly shoved it UP. HER. NOSE.
WHY IN THE HE&*#%$)@($&*#%^#*($@^#$()?!?
After several attempts to get it out, Luke finally took her into the ER where they were eventually successful. We remarked to each other that "at least she'll never do that again." And then the VERY next morning, SHE DID IT AGAIN.
So back to the ER we went where they fished out - once again - another bead.
It has now been 3 weeks and we have dug 6 beads out of this child's nose.
SEND. HELP.
