*It took Luke 1 second to convince me that we should spend our last Spring Break at the Mall of America.
*It took 2 other families to make it even more incredible.
*We spend 3 1/2 blissful hours in the car to get there and only went through 4 Mountain Dews in the process.
*There were 5 kids who were total rock stars and had only slight melt-downs.
(Pretty amazing for the torture we inflicted on them with 6 hours of shopping!)
*We had approximately 7 people staring at us when the gorillas at our restaurant started howling and a lightning/thunder storm simultaneously began causing more than one child to start crying.
*At least 8 lbs. of food were rapidly consumed by two certain people.
*Ride #9 (at the amusement park inside of the mall) was about the time that Brooklyn told me that she was done with rides and thought we should go back to the hotel.
Boo.
*12 rides was the breaking point.
*I bought 14 things at IKEA. (And my only regret is not getting more.)
*We tried on about 28 outfits combined at H&M.Only bought one.
*440 = Luke's score on the Ghost Blaster Ride.
*660 = Ashley's score on the Ghost Buster Ride.
Uh huh.
*The combined total number of pictures taken during the trip: 698.
*Aubrey shed about 826 tears when Brooklyn got to go on a ride that she wasn't tall enough for.Oh, the trials of youth.
Number of times I could do this trip again:
Infinity.

Reason #43 I wish we lived near you guys: to take awesome trips like this! Holy cow, that place looks amazing and so fun! Tell Luke I am impressed he suggested taking a trip that would no doubt involve shopping, and that he needs to teach Rick a thing or two. That is crazy that this was your last Spring Break-I'm glad you took advantage of it!
How fun!! I loved the Mall of America!! Glad you enjoyed your last spring break. It is kind of sucky when you don't get one 3rd year.
PS: Maybe next time you come in to sit in our class we will actually be having a lesson and half of the class won't be in the bathroom. :)
