We may or may not have gone for a walk in 34 degree weather.
(Even the dolls seemed to like it.)
And during that walk, we also may or may not have climbed a snow mountain just so I could take a picture. And on the way down from the snow mountain (that was a little less snow, and a lot more dirt) I may or may not have slipped down the side of it, pulling both screaming children with me and coming to a dramatic and painful end on the blacktop.
My children also might have found "baby rocks" that they spent the entire day nurturing. (We're talking the full-body treatment. Baths, food, potty-time. Aubrey even gave her baby rock a piece of her Oreo. That is love.)
Does anyone else's kids do this?
I'm not sure if it's normal or just the onset of snow-induced insanity.
This week, we maybe gave a fireside to the youth in our ward and spent far too much time reminiscing about our glory days. (Six-packs and all.)

It is possible that Aubrey got her first ever haircut, and did great, until we tried to put the hair-shielding cloak on. At that point Aubrey may or may not have completely freaked out and started exclaiming, "This is not a fun jacket!!" In the end, she went cloak-free and turned out darling. Hairy, but darling.
Also this week, I may or may not have jumped into the local YMCA swimming pool fully clothed. (OK, this actually didn't happen, but I got VERY close.) Brooklyn was in the middle of swimming lessons when I looked up from my book to see a pair of flailing arms and legs splashing up a storm and belong to... you guessed it: my child!! Luckily, the teacher noticed about the same time I did and grabbed her to spare me the jumping-into-the-pool humiliation.
And lastly, this week we might have experienced more fun than should be allowed for only two children.
And I may or may not be (but definitely am) the happiest mom in the world.
