A little while ago, someone in our family (who shall remain nameless) received an iTouch and catapulted us into the 21st Century. For those who are unfamiliar, the iTouch is a small hand-held computerish thingy that lets you do some awesomely cool crap.
Well, since Mr. iTouch entered the house, some interesting events have transpired:
-Mr. Touch gets all the attention.
-Mr. Touch is the coolest thing we own.
-Mr. Touch is the favorite toy.
But not LUKE'S favorite toy - the GIRL'S favorite toy!
With an iTouch, all things are possible.
They can turn a puzzle into a train that honks.
They can color a monkey named George.
(and have had several roll-over collisions).
This thing has been a lifesaver on long car trips, a pretty incredible learning tool, and a good way to waste some "it's too cold to do anything outside, but we are NOT watching another movie" time.
I even found them last Saturday in the wee hours of the morning hiding under the bunk bed taking turns on Mr. Touch.
And the craziest thing about it, is that these kids are better at using it than me! It's a pretty sweet world we live in where technology is so easy to use that my 2-year-old can turn it on, find the game she wants, and go to town.

Your girls are so cute. What games do you have on the touch? I'm always looking for new ones for Camrie.
Adney does the same thing on my Blackberry. He will play a game, call a friend, or surf the web. (or all 3)
I totally agree! I was completely shocked when we first got it a while back Kyla knew how to use it perfectly her first time! She loves playing that thing (we have to limit her time on it though) and we've used it for potty training motivation and other things as well! Along with what Dulcie said...what games do you have on there that the girls just love?
So, the games we have are: Clifford the Big Red Dog (spelling), Skiball, Diego (music), Thomas the Train (puzzles), and Curious George (colors). I recommend all of them!
Grandma, wheres your phonge? I don't know why (Tayler) adds the g, but all the grandkids ask for it. Shelli says Hudson has managed to learn shapes without one, I can't image how :)
