Earlier this month (still playing catch-up in every aspect of my life), we attended a Carnival Spectacular for my sweet nephew, Jake.
When the invitation looks like this, you know it's going to be amazing.
And amazing it was.
The girls talked about this party for weeks and woke me up frantically the morning of the party demanding that we leave immediately for the "Circus Party!!"
My sister, Brittany, out-did herself once again and made all my kid's dreams come true.
(Side note: Jake got 3 of the same present. From us, he got a lifetime supply of graham crackers. That boy likes his graham crackers.)
Also, do you see the cake? Do. you. see. the. cake?!?
There was a bounce house, a ton of carnival games, snow cones, nachos, amazing prizes that the kids had to earn by winning games, more candy than you'll ever know, kettle corn, face painting, and of course a photo booth.
Of course we had to have a little fun with the photo-booth. And by fun, I mean torture.
But fun for me.
Oh, and my Best Friend from elementary school stopped by with her daughter (Cam's Girl Friend).
It was just like being back in junior high.
But with babies.

I feel the need to explain (so my grandpa doesn't get arrested). He is not in fact beating one of the birthday guests. The little group of boys there started playing a game with him and it turned into a riot. There was plotting and planning and teasing and name calling and squealing and spanking.
I'm just sorry I didn't video tape it.
Happy Birthday Jake.
We love you to bits.
