Parade of Home (Volume 1 - Cameron's Room)

Alright, alright.
Since everyone has been begging me relentlessly for months now to PLEASE post pictures of our house and... (Ok.  Fine.  No one has asked to see our house.  It made me a little sad.  So I'm just going to show it to you and pretend like you are going to enjoy it.)

Cameron's room was the easiest and sadly the only room in the house that is finished.
So that is where we'll begin.
I made the light.  (Pinterest)
I made the red changing table pad. (Pinterest)
I made the pillows.  (All me.)
I made the curtains.
And I also made the baby.
I made some of the art work out of my very own "Cat in the Hat" book that my dad used to read to me as a baby.
If you look closely, there are boogers on some of the pages.
Vintage?
Indeed.
The map above Cameron's bed cost 10 cents at a garage sale and the frame was from Goodwill for $4.
The globe was also a lucky Iowa garage sale find, and the books were 50 cents (once again) at a garage sale.
Hello, Mr. Lightyear.
And there you have it.
Cameron's Room.

You're welcome.

I love this talent of yours Ashley! I have lost count of how many times I have described the inside of your Iowa place to people... Your girls room, cool details you put on the edge of windows, bathrooms, and great curtain in kitchen. I love your eye for detail. If Dave and I move to California after residency I will have to hire you as my interior designer... That is after we get a good dent off this endless pile of loan money we have over our head. I love this bedroom and can't wait for you to post what you have done with the rest of your place.
