On Saturday morning, I woke up with a sharp pain in my back.
One E.R. visit,
27 barf bags,
1 cathater,
1 CAT Scan,
42 hours without eating,
1 Ambulance ride,
12 vials of blood,
1 surgery, and a
5x6mm kidney stone later...
I. AM. ALIVE.
(Barely. But alive.)
*P.S. Thank you to everyone who has called, babysat, made meals, and helped in every way imaginable. I can't tell you what it means to me. Thank you.

Ahhh, holy cow! That's crazy. I'm so sorry you had to go through all that! That really sounds like a terrible ordeal. But I'm glad you're okay.
OH MY GOSH!!! I'm glad you are okay. How terrible for you!
Yikes! That's no fun Ash, no fun at all! Hope you are free and clear of that list above for a very very long time!
Oh Ash, I was so sorry to hear that this happened to you! I was completely shocked when Sunday rolled around and was informed you were in the hospital! Not fun. At all. I hear you are pretty darn sore too so PLEASE let me take your kids for a few hours or something! Call me!
You poor thing!!!!!!!! No more of those! That is terrible!! I hope you are feeling sooooo much better!!!!!!!!!
I normally love reading your blog, but this post made me not love it. Glad you are doing okay and hope that it doesn't happen EVER. Glad you were well taken care of, too. :D

Ah! This sounds horrific! I wish I could be there to help out! I'm glad you are on the mend. :-)
Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! You're making me feel lucky for my kidney stone experience...which was certainly no piece of cake but it was nothing compared to what you went through. Hopefully you heal up soon and won't have any health issues for a VERY long time!
