It's the best thing ever.
At the first game (which the girls played after exactly 35 minutes of exposure to soccer), I was laughing so hard I cried.
At one point, all the girls on both teams were standing in a circle with the ball in the middle just having a nice little chat in the middle of the game.
I was dying.
Brooklyn started off not really loving the sport. She gets worn out easily, and she hates running. Unfortunately, soccer incorporates both of those things.
But luckily, soccer also involves friends and treat bags after the games, so she's enjoying it.
She's just all up in it. All the time.
She scored 3 goals in the first 3 games.
And sometimes, when she gets really into it, she does this crazy jump/kick move and she basically flies over the ball, flutters her legs, and somehow she manages to get the ball where it needs to be.
Cameron already can't wait till he gets to start playing.
We play with each other during the girls' practices and he's got quite a leg on him. Although, most of the time, he just wants to watch the airplanes. Which is cool too.
I love this sport.
And these kids.
