It's year number five and it won't be a bore!
It started all off with a neighborhood hunt
We were ten seconds late and we missed the whole stunt.
Then we attempted to meet the big bunny
But an hour of waiting; this mom was all-done-ey.
They wanted a pet on this year's Easter morning
But daddy said no, and it wasn't a warning.
So instead of a creature, we got eggs full of candy
Which when Cameron discovered, he thought was quite dandy.
All of his clothes are three sizes too small
Plus his long, curly hair makes him look like a doll.
And all morning long I made him wear ears
He looked so dang cute it almost brought me to tears.
The girls got some goggles, and Cameron, a tie.
Oh. my. gosh. This picture! Seriously, I die!
When that was concluded, off to church we did go.
It was one of the best Sundays that I ever did know.
Later that day, it was like family fued
29 family members came - and brought food.
It was squishy, a bit
But no one threw a fit
Aubrey put ice down our shirts - then she split!
When dinner was done and not a scrap was in sight
Well, what else could we do - but an arm wrestling fight?!
One after another, he did beat all the rest...
Proving once and for all: Murray's the Best!!!
(Except for Aubrey who was fierce as could be...
She put them to shame, and she even beat me!)
Then another egg hunt and some snugglin' with gramps
These boys are more favorite - they both are such champs.
So, once again this year, our Easter was amazing
The family, the food, the fun, and the praising.
We're grateful for all that we know at this season
And thankful for Christ - because He is the reason.
Happy Easter!
Love,
the Webbs
