Ladies and Gentlemen,
Career Day happened.
And it was epic.
(I don't love the word "epic," but I can't think of any other way to describe it. I even tried the thesaurus and debating using the word "amazeballs" - which would have been equally appropriate, but it really was just plain epic. So there.)
Luke was able to take a quick break from saving the world and drop on in to both of the girl's classes. And I was able to take a quick break from being Cinderella and drop on in to torment him with my obnoxious and incessant picture taking.
It was a productive day all around.
And here is what I learned from career day.
#1: If the medical field goes under, Luke should totally become a Kindergarten teacher.
They were eating him right up.
One volunteer (Aubrey, naturally) had a pig in one ear and a cow in the other.
HI-LAR-I-OUS, I tell you.
#2: I've STILL got a thing for a guy in uniform.
Even when he's covered head to toe (literally) in sterile paper. Doesn't even matter.
#3: If you bring your dad to Kindergarten, you automatically become the coolest Kindergartener on the rainbow-colored rug.
#4: Kindergarteners are the funniest little humans alive. Their comments had me d y i n g.
I don't know how Luke held it together.
(After talking for 10 min. about what he does, he opened it up to questions and the first question he got was, "Ummm... what do you do?" Kid you not.)
#5: Kid sized Mickey Mouse surgery masks = the. best. thing. in. the. whole. entire. world.
#6: I actually had NO IDEA what Luke really does at work all day.
#7: I could make a career out of going to career day every single day.

Your girls are SO grown up! Kinda makes me want to cry. Excited we'll be near each other, and can catch back up!
Luke DOES look freaking hot in his sterile uniform :)
Luke should run for president! He appeals to the young as well as the old...so charismatic! You'd make an "epic" First Lady too, Ashley! :)
This is awesome ...or epic.
