Aubrey Lyn

Aubrey celebrated her 4th birthday this week.
4.
I can't believe it.  In some ways, it has flown by so fast it's almost just one big blur.
And in other ways, I can't remember a time that she wasn't part of our family.
All I know is that I flippin' adore this child.

So here in all her 4 year old glory, is
Aubrey Lyn Webb.
Ashley: "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Aubrey: "A mommy.  Just a regular mommy."
Ashley: "How many kids do you want?"
Aubrey: "I want 5.  Half is boys and half is girls.  So 5 boys and 5 girls."
Ashley: "What is the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?"
Aubrey: "A monster eated me.  Well, I had a dream that a monster eated me.  Well, it didn't really eat me, it just picked me up.  And it was a big and gold one.  And it was in the car when I was in the car."
Ashley: "What do you think Heavenly Father does all day?"
Aubrey: "I don't know what He does all day.  He just tries to find us."
Ashley: "Where do hamburgers come from?"
Aubrey: "I don't know.  Roosters have eggs.  I don't know what horses have.  But I think horses make hamburgers.  The cows make milk.  Oh, and the cows make hamburgers from their tummy."
Ashley: "Where do babies come from?"
Aubrey: "From tummies."
Ashley: "How do they get there?"
Aubrey: "Um.... you get pregnant.  Cause you get married.  If you get married the baby comes out.  Like you got pregnant and then you got born!!"
Ashley: "Who do you want to be like when you grow up?"
Aubrey: "Like you.  I wish that I could have those kinds of spots that you have (she's talking about zits!!!).  But I just have pretty light skin."
Ashley: "What is the most fun thing you've ever done?"
Aubrey: "Touching a fish one time."

Ashley: "How old do you want to be when you get married?"
Aubrey: "Um... I want to be seven five."

Ashley: "What is something I always say to you?"
Aubrey: "You say 'I love you.'"

Oh my heavens I love those birthday shots you took of her! And how in the world is she four already?!?! Oh man I remember her being a new little one so clearly. I love the birthday posts you've done for the girls....I may copy your idea for my kids if you're okay with it=) Hopefully you guys are living in WA next year for their birthdays, because I feel so sad I haven't been there for so many of them!

I love her.

This felt like deja vu when I read your first two questions. Mylee and I had that EXACT conversation this week. Five. Five boys and five girls. How funny!
