An Elf Named Zoey

This Christmas something magical happened.
One day, we woke up and there was an elf in our house.
A real live elf.
Aubrey walked out of her room one morning in a sleepy haze, wandered over to the TV, and let out a little squeal.  There on top of the TV, with her legs crossed like a little lady, was Zoey the Elf.  She had pearl earrings, a flower on her hat, a charming little smile, and a twinkle in her eye.

The first night in our home, Zoey colored the girls a picture of her friend Frosty.
The second night, Zoey raided our stash of chocolate chips and left a messy trail behind her.
On the third night of Christmas, Zoey test drove our unicorn.
The forth night, Zoey got a little tired.
The girls made Zoey a little bed out of burp cloths and a sock pillow.  She loved it so much, she made herself right at home and even took the liberty of borrowing Brooklyn's toothbrush.
The fifth night, Zoey got a little hungry...
On the sixth night, Zoey got a little mischievous.  She colored our toilet water green, toilet papered our bathroom, and wrote the girls a note on the mirror in toothpaste.
On the seventh night, Zoey went present-diving.
On the eighth night of Christmas, this sneaky little elf painted our noses red while we were snoozing.
(This picture is just to show how healthy we are.  At least they are just coughing and not barfing.  This time, at least.)
 Gross.
On the ninth night, Zoey went for a midnight ride.
On the tenth night, Zoey just hung around.
And on the eleventh night of Christmas, we thanked Zoey for helping to make this Christmas the most magical one yet, and bade her a fond farewell.
Until next year...

I really like Zoey. She is a lot more creative than our Elf, Mick. We might need to give him a heads up for next Christmas. ;)
