Brooklyn Nicole

In the franticness of October (a newborn baby, 3 weeks by myself, my kids driving across the country, Halloween, flying with a one month old, a birthday party, and packing for a 6 week trip), I failed to do my traditional birthday post.  

It's 5 weeks late.  

It could be worse. 

This year, I decided that the best way to explain Brooklyn is to let Brooklyn explain Brooklyn. 

So I did the asking and she did the answering. 

And here it is...

Brooklyn at 5.

Ashley: What do you want to be when you grow up?

Brooklyn: An anesthesiologist.  So I can give people shots.

Ashley: How many kids do you want to have when you grow up?

Brooklyn: I want to have 5.  2 boys and 2 girls, like you.

Ashley: Where do babies come from?

Brooklyn: From tummies.  And a little seed.

 Ashley: What do you think Heavenly Father does all day?

Brooklyn: Just stays up there and....... just stays with Mary.

Ashley:  Where does money come from?

Brooklyn: Olive Garden.  Am I right?  Cause you make money from Olive Garden. 

Ashley: How old are you going to be when you get married? 

Brooklyn: Twenty.

Ashley: What do you think you're going to learn about when you go to school?

Brooklyn: Good stuff.  Like about Jesus and trains.

Ashley: What's the most fun thing you've ever done? 

Brooklyn: Go to the Pumpkin Patch.

Ashley: Where do hamburgers come from?

Brooklyn: Ummm..... from farms.  And fire.

Ashley: What do mommy and daddy do after you go to bed?

Brooklyn: Busy stuff. Like cleaning up and do the computer and get themselves a drink and eat a little bit and brush their teeth and go to bed.

Ashley: What's something I always say to you?

Brooklyn: I love you.
