On the 26th birthday of my beautiful wife, here are 26 reasons she's the love of my life:
1. She is the best mother in the world. She sets a great example for our girls and I hope they grow up to be just like her.
2. She has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.
3. She is never lost, which is great because I am always lost. But I'd be much more lost without her.
4. She loves learning new things, and is always picking up new hobbies. Her latest is sewing, and she's getting really good.
5. She makes our house feel like home.
6. She loves to read.
7. She makes me want to be a better person.
8. She is a great friend and is always looking for ways to make others happy.
9. She is great with kids.
10. She has a smile that always brightens my day.
11. She's willing to follow me anywhere...few California girls would be willing to put up with Iowa winters.
12. She is the best cook ever.
13. She lets me talk to her about boring topics like history and politics, and she even pretends to be interested.
14. She is a great kisser :)
15. She has taught me that cleanliness truly is next to godliness.
16. She's a creative blogger.
17. She quizzes me before tests.
18. She is really smart, especially in areas that I know nothing about.
19. She doesn't complain, even when she has a right too.
20. She lets me listen to talk radio when we're in the car.
21. She has a very persuasive ability to get me to cut class to hang out with her and the girls (actually, maybe that's not such a good thing.)
22. She is a great waitress and is willing to get treated like dirt a couple nights a week in order to help provide for our family.
23. She is always willing to serve others and lend a helping hand.
24. She has a great sense of humor...except for the whole pregnancy joke, I also think that one is getting a little old :)
25. She is my best friend.
26. She has made me happier than I could have ever imagined, and spending eternity together won't be long enough.

That was sure nice! Happy bday Ashley, hopefully you had a fun day. It would be hard to plan anything between all the conference sessions but hopefully you guys had fun!
