"There's Something About Brooklyn"

A little post about the things that make Brooklyn extra special.
*Brooklyn is our human GPS. She always knows which way to go when we're driving and she remembers specific things (like which exit we take to get to Taco Bell). That either means we go to Taco Bell way too much, or she just has an incredible sense of direction.

*Brooklyn is bicycle handicapped.
Luke has tried.
I have tried.
Aubrey has tried.
We all have failed.
Good thing she is perfectly content to just push it.
*Brooklyn wears a dress or a skirt every single day. If I make her wear pants, it's a bad morning.

*She is afraid of the following: thunder, rain, poop (dog poop; not human poop - by the way, why do my posts always have the word poop in them lately? I will try to work on this...) insects, wind, airplanes, motorcycles, dogs, worms, jeans, anything loud, and lightning.
*She is the pickiest eater on record. She likes spaghetti but hates tomatoes. She likes bread, but won't eat crust. She makes me peel the edges off her Pop-Tarts and has seriously tried to convince me that she could survive on ice cream and candy.

*I'm almost positive she'll be a nurse someday. And she'll be a good one.

*Good luck trying to get her to keep her shoes on. Or her clothes, actually.
*Brooklyn starts screaming bloody murder when I get near her with a brush in hand. She has a mighty sensitive head (or she's faking... the jury's still out on this one.).

*Brooklyn does not have a mean bone in her body. She's as sensitive as they come.

*She's 99.9% girl. (She does have a tool box, or that .1% would be disputable.) Dresses, make-up, sparkles, princesses, Barbies, ponies, nail polish and lip gloss. It's going to be a rough couple of years around 2020.
*She is the ultimate protector. She worries constantly that Aubrey is doing something wrong, that Aubrey is going to get hurt, that Aubrey is going to get in trouble, and she has no problem telling me. This has come in handy on more than one occasion.
Aubrey hates it more than anything.

*This kid has never met a stuffed animal she didn't have to own.
*I'm not worried about Brooklyn ever having Alzheimer's. She remembers every single insignificant detail of events in the distant past. It's incredible. She could probably tell you what she had for breakfast on June 9th, 2008.

*She is adored by her younger sister. She is treasured by her mom. She is cherished by her dad.
She is loved by all.

Brooklyn! She is seriously the sweetest girl! I already miss being her teacher on Sunday.

So the park...Walker Johnson Park is the name, it is in Urbandale on Douglas (I think). It is the best ever. We love it.

What a cute post. She is a doll. She and Mylee have several things in common: the girliness, the tender-headed/ faking being tender-headed, and the stuffed animals. What a cutie.
