Another year, another post
About how this Easter was better than most
It's Dr. Seuss time and it's episode eight
So just keep on reading - let's get this thing straight.
This Easter weekend was different than others
There were 24 kids and 6 worn-out mothers.
The husbands went golfing, the girls took a swim
where I basically became a wet jungle gym.
Then after baking for hours in the sun
We joined in a carnival and had some fun
Easter bunny pictures and jumping sack races
And pie eating contests and messy/cute faces.
Then a BBQ dinner and a quick egg search
Then s'mores with our friends the night before church.
Easter morning the bunny had come
So we hunted for eggs with some help from grandmum.
Bailey found a cute bunny
The girls got some toys and Cameron some money.
Then after a picture, to church we all went
to learn about Jesus and why he was sent.
And how on this Easter and every single day
We get to be grateful and sing and pray.
And remember the Savior and his act of love
And all of the blessings he sends from above.
